History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. A true patriot, Herleva would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.
