History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a Spy, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gilbert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love
