Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Gunter was born with his father's beautiful face. Gunter was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Marshal. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a fancy brown suit. His hair is white and very short. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: He was born in a small desert village. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Brewer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants a kiss

Description: She is a mite stocky and dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a yellow coat with green slacks. Her tied-back hair is chestnut. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady gray eyes.
Personality: Oriel wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
