Gomory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
