History: Shane was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). During her travels, Maynild and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Maynild discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Maynild fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
