Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Body Guard, but he got bored and became a Servant. History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Joan hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Joan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of goblins
