History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Conrad was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Baker. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
