History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Robert was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bellfounder. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
