She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Avelina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Sarah and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Beatrice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
