History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born in the west. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
