Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for her, and Mary does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She got into the Blacksmith business at a young age. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She struck the Blacksmith job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and expand her business

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
