History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is greedy

Description: This late middle aged man typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor and is in decent physical shape. His white hair is greasy and uncared for. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ernest grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ernest. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.
