She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: This southern man wears dark leathers with embroidery. His clothes are grease stained in places. His red hair is cut short. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gerald was born with his father's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Eloise was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Eloise's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Eloise and her spouse have recently divorced.
