History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was born into a rich family. Through the years after Elysande was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Elysande's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
