History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Through the years after Melissa was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Melissa's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
