History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bricklayer and was forced into it by his family.

History: Elizabeth hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Dilettante profession.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
