History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
