History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Banker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
