Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Peter was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He has never given up on his writing dream.

As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. After coming to the age of reason, Avice took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
