Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. She has auburn hair. Her blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Blacksmith who has hired her part-time. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: He is wearing a long, pastel, dusty cloak. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Shane was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. During his travels, Shane and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shane discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shane fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Human compassion; and money/treasure

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
