History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with her Slave Trader mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
