History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
