History: Charles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second son.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
