History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She is wearing a long, pastel, dusty cloak. Her blonde hair is singed and shortened. Her eyes are likewise violet. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Adelaide's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Patrick wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Patrick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and retire the richest man in the east
