Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Adelard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Engraver for the past few years.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is a great chef.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has moderate length chestnut hair. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Chad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears just a yellow suit, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His golden hair is singed and shortened. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Bowyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
