History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anne grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She now owns her own business.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born into a rich family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To be a Herbalist again; and wants to open a new tavern
