History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
