He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Guard. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Slave Trader father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Her amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Rosalind speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Rosalind learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. Being a Bookbinder kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
