History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Adam was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Blacksmith. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Gerard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
