Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Melissa was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Theodoric was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and further expansion of business
