History: Randal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
