Personality: Everard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
