History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Body Guard, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anthony grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has no hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
