History: The child of a Seamstress, who enjoyed hunting, Adelard was taken on many hunting expeditions. Adelard was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
