History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Healer for the past few years.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
