History: Conrad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand his business

Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. Her green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.
