Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He is portly but not overly obese. His tied-back hair is blonde. His ears are large.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a brown tunic with grey highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around his shoes. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her blonde hair is cut short. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Agatha isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: Agatha lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Agatha fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.
