Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born to a Locksmith, her father struggled to pay the bills. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Melissa never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Charles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
