He prefers to carry a shield, but if one is not available he will default to his shortbow, and he perpetually has his shortbow ready. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
