History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Adam was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shepherd. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
