Personality: Gerard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by drow. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Avelina is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She got into the Beggar business at a young age. Her first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Isabella was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Isabella's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
