Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Rosamund was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and many giants want him driven away

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
