History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Anselm was born the youngest of three triplets. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Anselm's homeland. Anselm decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She is a Succubi in disguise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
