Description: A plain young-adult man, he prefers to wear red clothing when he does not wear armor. His golden hair is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hugh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Hugh was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hugh decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is dressed in earthy colors with a green and blue handkerchief worn on his left side. He sports a long silver beard, and similarly colored long hair. His ears are large.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Anthony enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Anthony was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Carter. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bricklayer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Lewis was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he's looking for his big break
