History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
