Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Lance liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Rosamund was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
