History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Simon took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: Agnes was born with her father's beautiful face. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ahlyssa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Carter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ahlyssa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
