History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 20. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.
