History: Born to a Cook, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat, and a wedding ring on her left hand. With wild red hair. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Agatha grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Agatha. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Agatha never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: Balimaar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

Description: A 5'8" southern man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. John was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
