Description: This late middle aged man typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor and is in decent physical shape. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.
